Ben Wills takes the social media train to win the SEM Scholarship contest

Filed under: Uncategorized — David Temple @ 11:37 pm

Congratulations to Ben Wills,  winner of Marketing Pilgrim’s SEM Scholarship contest. After 4 weeks and 48 entries Ben was declared the winner of the $6,000 in prizes.  The final four contestants’ articles were reviewed by a panel of 9 judges who chose Ben Wills’ article “The Five Pillars of Social Media Marketing” from among the other four weekly winners. His 1,154 unique views are what gained his entry into the final four but his well written article about the power of social media is what impressed the judges.

Although I wasn’t a weekly winner one of the distinguished judges blogged “David Temple, I also enjoyed your post on education”.  That made it all worthwhile. Thanks to everyone that viewed my article, entered the contest, Andy Beal and all the judges for making this a excellent learning experience.  Let’s do it again!

Eyetools tracks Washington Post home page users

Filed under: Uncategorized — David Temple @ 1:50 am

Been busy with some projects, one which brought up
They did the Google search eye track which revealed the F pattern and declared the golden triangle. They also showed research on various websites including the Washington Post home page. Really like what Greg and the eyetools gang is doing. That adds certified eye tracking analyst to the list. Really, if there were such a certification I’d go after that. This is the most exciting and fun tool I’ve seen in ages. Okay check it out.
