Kim Krause Berg of Cre8siteforums has announced the winners of the sponsorships for sem training. Members voted on which sem training courses would receive the sponsorships. Here’s what Kim said about the sponsorhips, “”As it stands, it’s our wish that each winner set aside the funds as a Cre8asiteforums Educational Scholarship, in which they determine whom to award the $400 to. We will send a check upon being notified of a recipient. ”
I’d like to see each of those sem training programs use the sponorships to a create full scholarship. Perhaps they could run a “contest” to determine who gets the scholarship. Whatever they do let’s hope they don’t make it a keyword contest. Thanks to Kim and all the members who share their knowledge about search engine marketing so freely on the forum for these sponsorships. Originally only 4 sem training programs were to be picked but due to a tie 5 different programs will receive a sponsorship. And the winners are;
1- SEMPO Institute – The new SEMPO Institute has developed a comprehensive curriculum to provide both entry level learning and truly advanced professional SEM training.
2 – Fresh Egg –Attendees of the Fresh Egg SEO Internship Training not only gain access to the experience of two fine and long established SEO professionals – they also gain experience all of their own. Real world experience of the practice and business of providing SEO and SEM services.
4 – Bruce Clay – Since 1997, SEOToolSet™ has helped thousands of SEO consultants, search engine marketing firms and web developers optimize websites to obtain high search engine rankings.
5-Human Factors Inc. – HFI has been providing training in user-centered design since 1982. Our classes are routinely upgraded with the latest usability research and integrate with our overall set of offerings and methodology.
Kim added “Plans for next year are not settled yet. We would like to make this annual gig and are considering raising fees for the homepage ads in the forums, and putting the proceeds towards educational sponsorships again for 2007.”
